Real-world Observation Interviews (Ages 10-13)

Conduct three real-world observation interviews with children in the 10-13 age range using the questionnaire below. These real-world observation interviews will enable you to immediately experience the characteristics and behavior of the young people that you learned about in the Week 3 course content. The interviews may be conducted in person, or by telephone, Zoom, Skype, or some other media type. Be sure to provide the interview questionnaire for the child’s parent(s) to review in advance of the interview, and to secure parental permission for each interview.

Save the completed questionnaires to your computer. You will use your research, observations, and responses the children provided during the interviews conducted in Weeks 1-3 to write and submit an Observation Paper during Week 4.

After saving your three completed interview questionnaires for the 10-13 age group, save the documents to your computer using the following pattern: Last Name. First Name, Assignment Title. Upload these documents to the course using the Assignments block below. Please submit by Monday at 11:55 PM, Central Time.
